GRAPHIC DESIGN

SCHOLASTIKA SCHOOL - PRAGUE, 2021
In the year 2021, I gained a Graphic Design Certification at Scholastika Art School in Prague.
Throughout the course I have created two projects:
1. Graphic posters reflecting our feelings on the pandemic
2. Promotional posters of Czech art
PROJECT 1
The first project was a group project made at the start of the Covid pandemic, and the theme was nothing else than, The pandemic. The initial plan was to create this project together in one of the Scholastika classrooms. However that was not possible, therefore these projects were created by each of us as individuals while being "together" on Zoom calls.
The literal translation of how we choose to name this project is: Together, themselves. Which perfectly described our creation. We have created multiple graphic design posters that represented how we were feeling and what we were experiencing. Thereafter we published all of our projects on a website.

PROJECT 2
As my final project for my graphic design course, I have created a promotional poster. The aim of this creation was to create visually interesting posters promoting traditional Czechoslovak artistic brands that were in decline through the Covid pandemic and to bring awareness to them. Each student had their own topic, and once all posters were created, they were displayed in the Kopka Gallery in Prague altogether.

Pearl poster

Kopka Gallery in Prague
My task was to create a promotional graphic poster for a local business (in Prague) - a traditional Czechoslovak pearl beading factory. The factory sells mainly pear ornaments which were chosen by me as the main design element.

For the poster creation, I have used Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
